How to use KiaOra
KiaOra can be used to make national and international calls from any touch tone phone. For the best rates, use it from your home phone to make your every day calls.

KiaOra is not the most cost effective way to make international calls from a mobile phone. If you're making your calls from a mobile, take a look at the V8 phone card, which lets you make incredibly cheap international calls from your Vodafone mobile phone.
KiaOra timesavers
You don't want endless numbers to press, no matter how good the rates are, so KiaOra has a couple of handy timesaving devices for you.
Tell your KiaOra phone card to remember your home phone number
You can tell the KiaOra service to enter your phone card PIN automatically, every time you dial the local access number from your home phone.

Press * to enter the KiaOra advanced options menu |

Select option 2: save your phone card PIN to the number you're calling from. |

Press 1 to automatically use your KiaOra card when you call the local access number from your home phone. Next time you dial the local access number, KiaOra will remember your KiaOra PIN, so you'll never have to re-enter it. |
Set up KiaOra speed dial
KiaOra lets you save your frequently called numbers into its speed dial memory for one-touch dialling.

Press * to enter the KiaOra advanced options menu. |

Select option 7: speed dial. |

Enter the speed dial slot you wish to save, from 0 to 9. |

Enter the number this speed dial slot should dial in this format:

International 00 + Country Code + Area Code + Telephone Number (e.g. 00 1 212 123 4567) |

When the number is read back to you, press # to confirm it or re-enter the phone number. |
Using KiaOra speed dial
Once you've saved your speed dial slots, making calls takes no time at all.
